Aeromexico is the national airline of Mexico, providing passenger and cargo services around the world.

Aeromexpress was created by the Mexicana de Aviación and Aeroméxico airlines in 1989 to handle all cargo activities for both airlines. It earned the title of being the first Cargo Airline in Mexico, obtaining authorization from IATA under the code QO and the prefix 976. In 1998, Aeromexpress entered into an agreement to operate a new airline.
