The China Vegetable Association is a national first-level industry association approved and registered by the Ministry of Civil Affairs and under the business supervision of the Ministry of Agriculture. It is a national, industry-based, non-profit social organization voluntarily formed by practitioners and units in the fields of vegetable production, scientific research, seed industry, technology promotion, vegetable and agricultural inputs production and management, vegetable processing and supporting industrial chains. It was officially established in August 2012 and its office is currently located in the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences.
