We are a non-profit civil association, independent of any political party, founded in 1984, inspired by Latin American solidarity based on liberation theology and the accompaniment of Dominican friars. Since then, the Vitoria Center has worked for the protection and promotion of human rights in Mexico and Latin America from the youth, in processes of accompaniment of defenders, victims and their families, as well as social movements and popular organizations. We assume ourselves as defenders committed to the construction of a participatory democracy in the country and to the defense of human dignity. MISSION To defend and promote human rights through multidisciplinary work with youth as agents of social change in Mexico and Latin America, through the generation of training spaces, legal advice and citizen articulation for local and regional political incidence.
