The Ahlhorn Citizens' Association was founded on January 30, 1956 as the Ahlhorn local association. The task of the Citizens' Association is to promote the municipal and cultural interests of Ahlhorn in close cooperation with the municipality of Großenkneten and other bodies, and to contribute to their realization.
