In addition to archaeological excavations and surveys, our field of activity includes inventories, exhibition preparations, the creation of image rectifications, digital plans, drawings of finds, publication templates and the digital archiving of documentation material. Current construction project Seeleite, Unterpleichfeld-Burgrumbach On the northern outskirts of Burggrumbach, the municipality of Unterpleichfeld is planning to develop the three new development areas Seeleite I to III. During preliminary investigations by the Bavarian State Office for Monument Preservation in May 2019, remains of a Linear Pottery culture settlement were found there. The BfdS wants to maintain, preserve and protect German printed and cursive scripts and the German language. After 1941, German script was no longer taught in schools. Most people today can therefore neither read nor write it. There is therefore a risk that important documents from the past will remain unread and their content will be lost forever. The BfdS therefore spreads knowledge of German script as a key to this cultural heritage that has developed over centuries. The knowledge contained in printed and cursive scripts should continue to be accessible to everyone in the future. Learning German scripts is also a lot of fun and requires little effort. The German language has existed for at least 1200 years. It is one of the most expressive languages ​​in the world, which is why countless people learn it voluntarily. A flood of foreign words is now reducing its strong expressiveness and thus endangering its existence. Foreign words can enrich a language, but many of them are ambiguous. This repeatedly leads to unnecessary misunderstandings. In addition, foreign words are displacing clear German proper nouns, which are already hard to find in current dictionaries. The shrinking vocabulary of the German language is leaving us more and more often literally speechless. The Association for German Writing and Language therefore advocates the maintenance and protection of the German language.
