Alvaro is a multidisciplinary artist, originally from Brazil, living in Canada since 2009. Exploring visual arts, especially acrylic painting and drawing, since 2010, Alvaro's practice focused on creating powerful and dramatic portraits. Since 2021, taking a master's degree in visual arts in Montreal (UQAM, Canada), Alvaro is currently developing a visual research, Terra Brasilis (working title), questionning elements of Brazilian visual culture.
