Art Nomade (AN) is an international performance art gathering based in the Saguenay-Lac Saint-Jean region of northern Quebec. On a biannual basis, AN brings together professional artists in performance evenings, conferences, workshops, round tables and video-performance screenings. By partnering with various contemporary art presenters since 2007, AN has invited more than 50 artists/speakers from 20 countries and collaborated with more than 25 partners across Quebec/Canada (artist-run centres, museums, academic institutions) and abroad (Finland, Sweden, Thailand, Singapore). Since 2015, AN has officially been a non-profit organization co-founded by Étienne Boulanger and Francis O’Shaughnessy.
